A huge well done to all the pupils for completing over one and half million steps in one hour! Each year group had different activities to complete in the Demesne and everyone did extremely well.
Check out some of our pictures below.
Thank you to all those who supported through sponsorship. It is very much appreciated.
Well done to all the children for their fantastic effort in Sports Day.
Special mention must go to our medal winners from P3-7.
Yesterday, we began planting around our new Outdoor Sensory Garden. The children were heavily involved in this as you can see from our photographs (to follow shortly).
After Easter we will be welcoming hens to our new coop so the children throughout the school were busy with a wide range of 'chicken related' activities!
P.1's made hens from paper plates.
P.2's sang songs and explored the life cycle of a hen.
P.3's drew pictures with pastels.
P.4's read poems & books about hens as well as completing some reading activities and beautiful art work.
As well as planting outside, the P.5/P.6/P.7's also completed some beautiful art work, origami hens and some maths puzzles.
Well done everyone!

KS2 Production 2017 - GREASE!
Well.......there we have it folks. We've shoo-bopped and dinga da dinga donged our way through the hit musical 'Grease' and had a lot of fun along the way. The fact that our pupils in Key Stage 2 were able to deliver such superb performances over 2 nights not only reflects the support you have provided as parents but also the consistent, hard working and confident approach we see from our pupils on a daily basis. We are immensely proud of them!
A review of Grease once stated.......
'The only things Grease has to rely upon are its reputation and its music.'
We hope we've done enough to secure and not tarnish its reputation!.....and so, for a final time......a womp bop a looma.....a WOMP BAM BOOM!

All athletics performed very well and we are delighted and proud of their effort. Special congratulations must go to Jamie for being crowned 'Speed Bounce' Champion. Fantastic news!!!
Many thanks again to Mrs Warwick and Mrs Beattie for travelling with the team.
Lisburn Primary Schools Under 11 Cup Final
A huge congratulations to the football team for their tremendous effort and determination in the final of the Under 11 Cup against Pond Park PS.
After a slow start, we found ourselves 2-0 down. This however did not deter the boys and they started to play with belief. A super low strike from Jamie brought it back to 2-1 at the end of the first half.
We started the second half brightly and put them under some pressure. This resulted in another terrific shot from Jamie, which was parried by their goalkeeper, only for Aaron to coolly chip it over their sprawling goalkeeper to make it 2-2.
With the score level at full time, we entered extra time. Pond Park played well and scored another goal to edge them in front. As we entered the final minute of play, we were awarded a penalty. Aaron walked up and superbly found the back of the net, bringing the scores level.
The final whistle blew and both teams were declared joint winners. A fantastic achievement to retain the Under 11 Cup which we won last year.
Many thanks again to all the travelling support and to Mrs. Beattie for assisting with transport, encouragement and tactics throughout the match!
