We have been exploring numbers to 20 in P2. We used numicon to help us see how they all contain ten and other single digit numbers.
We are having fun with maps. We looked at Barnaby’s map of Dublin and then created our own version. They look great 🙂
We have been using our Connecting Frames to make connections with numbers which are more and less than one another 🔢
We have been using the Bee-Bot during our ICT sessions and exploring the sights of Dublin.
In P2B today, we had great fun designing and assembling our own 3D houses, which ties in really well with our current Topic of “Where We Live”.
We had fun creating 3D houses using cereal boxes and lots of different 2D shapes. We even gave gave our house a number!
We’ve been busy learning our new P2 words.
P2 enjoyed a walk through Moira. We saw Logic, SuperValu, the Vet clinic, the bus stop, Cairos, the library and the Demesne. Barnaby bear came along to see where we live.
We love Play Based Learning in P2. We are exploring our new topic, Where we live!
