PTA Hallowe’en Disco 💃 🎃

This morning P4MD received a hand delivered letter from a policeman asking for our help in investigating anti social behaviour in Moira Demesne. We used our knowledge of measuring to draw out the 5 suspects 🕵️ 👮‍♀️ 📏

🌳 P4’s Walking Tour of Moira 🌳

We went on our walking tour to discover just how much Moira has changed over the years. We had such a great morning observing, chatting and walking around our village.

A big thank you to Joanne and Jack from St. John’s church who gave us a wonderful lesson about the history of the Church. They even treated us to a wordsearch, juice and biscuits!

P4D opened a storybox which was filled with lots of mysterious evidence. We thought it belonged to Mr Barnes, so we spent time measuring it to send off as evidence to the police.

This morning, P4MD opened a story box of evidence!

We found what we believe to be Paul Barnes’ tools and boots so we decided to contact the local police to ask them for help. The police then asked us to measure and make notes of the evidence before sending our predictions to them .

🌳 Forest School 🌳

We visited our local Demesne and used natural resources to recreate buildings from our local area, Moira. We had so much fun learning outdoors!

We got in contact with Mr McFarland , a local Moira historian. We asked him interesting questions about Moira. He was so kind and sent us a video answering our questions!

Today, P4 explored how electrical circuits work💡

Practising our folk dance 💃

Today we have been using our coding knowledge to move a sprite (character) around a map of Moira 🗺️ 🖥️

We love going outdoors for our lessons! Today we used natural materials to make 2D shapes
