Today the children became estate agents and used their rounding (to the nearest hundred) skills to place houses for sale around Moira into groups according to the customer budget

Today the aspiring poets of P4M took a trip to Moira Demesne armed with their iPads in search of inspirational places to photograph and describe (we even brought Mr Ford along with us) ๐Ÿ˜€ The children were very good at using adjectives to describe what they could see, hear and feel and then used this in the classroom to create descriptive PicCollages which will help us write our poems over the next few days… here is a sneak peek of our ideas ๐Ÿ’ก

Group 1: used their rounding knowledge to park cars in the correct parking lot at Howard Abrahams.

Group 2: placed the lollipop sticks in the correct recycling bins according to the number they found to.

Group 4: challenged each other in a rounding race

Group 5: consolidated all their rounding knowledge on a ‘Football shoot out’ using the iPads
