October

Learning to be independent!

The boys and girls are settling in and following Nursery routines such as snack and dinner routines!

Autumn is here!

The boys and girls have been observing all the changes that Autumn brings and exploring lots of natural materials such as leaves, conkers, pine cones and acorns through play.

"Wee Critters"

We were very lucky to have a special visitor called Allan the Explorer in Nursery! Allan brought with him some very special animal friends that we got to look at and hold! Allan told us many interesting facts about the animals and how we can protect and look after them.

Pupil Well-being

Pupil well-being is always a priorty at Moira Primary School. Even in Nursery, we regular plan activities to support pupil well-being and teach children to understand, talk about and manage their feelings and emotions, even from 3 years-old!

The children are really enjoying weekly 'Sunshine circles' to help enhance their well-being.

Sunshine Circles are adult-directed, structured play therapy-based groups that incorporates playful, cooperative, and nurturing activities that enhance the emotional well-being of children. The children are enjoying weekly sunshine circles which include fun activities using feathers, balloons and bubbles!
