In P1 we are very excited for Christmas. We have been busy working on our P1 and P2  Nativity - we are quite the superstars ⭐️ Have a look through our pictures to see lots of our Christmas themed learning 🎄✨

P1 went to the computer suite and made their own Christmas pictogram using information on a tally chart that they had recorded in class. The P7 classes very kindly helped us - thank you P7!!

Mrs McClurg (one of our P1 parents) kindly played her violin for us. She played some wonderful Christmas songs and told us all about high and low notes. Thank you Mrs McClurg!

Making our own Christmas Book

P1 made Christmas sentences with their key words. They worked really hard and made some wonderful sentences 🎄 ⭐️

Sequencing pictures from our shared book ‘Peace at Last’

We made winter woolly hats ❄️ we had to think of a repeating pattern when painting them. Can you spot our repeating patterns?

Christmas Art and Craft

We have been learning how to make lists. We had a go at making a list of items we would like to have for our Christmas dinner.

We decorated Christmas trees using the language more/less/fewer when choosing how many decorations to put in the tree 🎄
