Our new topic this term is all about “Moving Things” 🚀⛵️🚘 As part of this topic P1 will be learning about different forces. Have a look through our photos to see what P1 are getting up to!
P1 are taking part in the ‘Big Garden Bird Watch’ 🦅🐦 We went for a walk and spotted lots of different birds in the school grounds. We are looking forward to seeing how many different birds we can spot in our gardens this weekend. When we got back to the classroom we painted some of the birds we spotted, or hope to spot over the next few days!
Length - we measured objects around the P1 area. We then decided if they were longer or shorter than our piece of card. We even found some objects that were the exact same length as some of our card.
We made some ‘8 legged creatures’ as part of our home learning tasks. We loved bringing them into school and showing them off to our friends 🐙 🕷
