March

This week we were sorting items for 2 criteria. We chatted to a partner, worked out what we had in common and what was individual to us and recorded our findings using a Venn diagram. It was interesting to share what we liked with others and I definitely learned some new preferences from the boys and girls. We also had a great Golden Time and enjoyed constructing, drawing and working on the iPads.

Kadinsky has been inspiring many areas of our work at the moment. This challenge took a lot of steady hand eye coordination. Come and have a look!👀

We enjoyed World Book Day. We made mini-me’s of ourselves dressed up in our costumes and we used these to create a class pictogram. Football strips were the most popular outfit to dress up in. Horse riding, Paddington and Dog Man were also popular categories in our class. For our literacy learning we made bookmarks and talked to partners about our favourite books. Some boys and girls also sat on the ‘hot seat’ and answered questions about their favourite texts. A really successful day in all.

Today we were using our comprehension skills to answer questions all about Pancake Day. Of course we had a well earned treat afterwards!
