As part of the biodiversity element of our Eco Schools programme, we have been looking at bats and creating a habitat for them to roost around our school.
As part of this, the children learnt some interesting facts about bats and then had to measure and mark accurately the sides of a bat box. The children will be constructing these during DIY club on a Friday afternoon.
Have a look at how well our first two groups built their bat boxes.
Our Xcountry season began in Lurgan Park with Round 1 of the AthleticsNI Flahavans Primary Xcountry League.
Well done to all runners who ran exceptionally well, showing great determination and effort.
With so many runners now taking part, the team races are split into two.
Special mention must go to Lily for coming third in the Girls' Race. The Girls' Team finished 1st and the Boys' Team 3rd in their races - a fantastic achievement!!
