Congratulations to all the runners who have competed in the Flavahans Primary School Xcountry League organised by Athletics NI over the three rounds.
After our three rounds we are delighted to say that the girls' team has made the NI Finals. Unfortunately the boys' team just missed out as they finished fourth, although Harry has progressed to the finals, as he finished in the top 5 individuals who were not part of the top three schools.
The finals will take place in February at the City of Belfast playing Fields in Mallusk.
This is a tremendous achievement, well done to all!!!
A huge 'Well Done' to all the runners that raced today in Round 3 of the Flavahans Primary Schools XCountry League.
This took place at Banbridge Academy and consisted of a fun run race, girls' race and a boys' race.
Special mention must go to Ella won the girls' race and Harry who came second in the boys' race.
We await to hear full results, as this will determine if we have reached the NI Finals. Only the top three teams from each area will progress.
Full results will be posted soon on the Athletics NI website.....

Many thanks to all family and friends who came to support the children.
Through the IFA, P4's have been learning and developing their fundamental movement skills. This has been taking place at school on a Wednesday afternoon and will continue until the end of the year.
Gary Devenney, IFA Coach, is teaching important skills of agility, balance and teamwork as well as many others.
It is an enjoyable time for all!

Christmas Jumper Day
Well done to the School Council for organising our Christmas Jumper Day.
There was a wonderful, festive feel around the school, with a wide range of Christmas jumpers on display.
Each class had time in the hall to participate in some fun games that the School Council had organised.
A total of £330 was raised towards buying new resources for the children
Thank you for your support!
Xmas Jumping Clay Decorations
The children enjoyed making some personalised Christmas Jumping Clay decorations.
Well done to everyone and enjoy decorating your home with your fantastic decorations.
ALDO THE MAGICIAN
As a Christmas treat, Aldo the Magician visited school as performed some fantastic tricks to the amazement of the children.
There was great discussion afterwards on how he managed to do the tricks!
Well done to all our pupils who earned a special prize for displaying good manners in November.
In Moira PS we love to see excellent manners - it was difficult to choose just 5 or 6 pupils for this special award in each class!
The names of our especially mannerly pupils are on our 'Soaring to Success' board.
