September

Today we had a lovely visit to our outdoor classroom,as part of our senses walk. πŸ‘€πŸ‘‚πŸ‘ƒβœ‹

P3 worked hard to discover the identity of a mystery person.  Today they were given clues that described the mystery person and they used their powers of deduction to match each clue to a picture.  It was hard work and they still don’t know who the mystery person is but now they have some brilliant similes to describe the person.  The mystery continues!

As part of our WAU topic our children made smell pots to test our sense of smell. Thank you to everyone at home who helped to create these pots! Our children really enjoyed testing out our sense of smell.

We were working out change from 20p today. We really had to think carefully about how calculate each amount.

This week we were testing our taste buds. I wonder does it taste like cheese and onion or salt and vinegar?

Activity Based Learning in P3

To make things a little trickier, we went to the playground to measure the length of it in feet, paces and strides. It was fun...definitely a team effort!

We had a fun week measuring! Today we were estimating how many handspans.......πŸ‘Œ

P3 enjoyed measuring large and small spaces using their hand spans, feet, paces and strides.

Show and tell for our baby, toddler and now pictures!

Our WAU Myself Topic is coming to life in P3 as the children are bringing in items from home to show their personal timeline.

We have been using the β€˜connecting frame’ and the β€˜sequencing frame β€˜to sequence our own timelines, from baby to the present day. Come and have a look! πŸ‘€
