In PE today, we explored an imagined cold land, where we had to jump into frozen ponds and step over and roll across broken down icicles- we were able to put all our PE learning into use! 🥶❄️🧊

This week in ABL we have been creating climate maps 🗺️, investigating magnets 🧲, creating an artic animal online ❄️ and learning about the Newton wheel 🌈

Molly blew us away with the rosettes she was awarded at a school show jumping competition! We are so proud of you Molly 👏🏼🐴

Today we became scientific polar animal researchers 🧊🐻‍❄️ we worked in groups to use different sources to research polar animals, and then organised our thinking using defining frames

Today we used our knowledge of solving word problems and column method multiplication to crack a secret code left for us by an arctic explorer 🧊✖️

Finding top tips for explanation writing ✍️

Inside out story box today, there were some clues telling us some breaking news!! Some polar bears have been moved to somewhere they are not suited to live in... Brazil! We must find a way to stop this!

Using our multiplication skills to complete an Antarctic sailor workout!
