P1 sorted farm animals on a range of diagrams. They thought about different characteristics such as, beak or no beak, hooves or no hooves and even considered where the different animals live.

Length - P1 worked together to measure how tall different farm animals are 🐄 🐷

Sports Day

P1 made maps today to show the different homes around the farm

P1 had the best time at Moira Park! P1 filled their reward jar and voted to visit Moria park for the afternoon as their class treat!

P1 had lots of fun working with their partner to place the missing numbers on the number lines

P1 used a connecting frame to sort where each farm animal lives.

Planting Potatoes 🥔

P1’s potatoes are sprouting! Today we had to top up the soil and water our spuds. We hope by the end of June we will have potatoes to harvest 🥔

P1 have been adding 2 amounts to but items from Moira Farm Shop. We used 1p coins to find how much it cost altogether.

We have been using a function machine in Numeracy 🤖
