We have been learning about, ‘Measure’. We made paper aeroplanes in class, we took our aeroplanes outside and flew them. We used metre sticks to measure the distance they flew. Some flew over 6 metres!
Our new topic is ‘School’. We planned a route to see the old school in Moira built in 1908! Our school was opened in 1999 and we love our school with its’ playgrounds, grassy areas, polytunnels, big hall, bicycle racks, play park and wonderful play areas!
The Colour Run was so much fun😃
Victoria knows a lot about gardening 👩🌾 She showed us how to be really careful when planting seedlings - squeeze the pot gently and then when upside down tap it and never hold the little shoot! We planted pumpkins, french beans, sweetcorn and runner beans. We can’t wait to watch them grow😀.
Investigating ordinal number 😀 We created a connecting frame on the rug using a skipping rope!
