We had fun exploring the capacity of different containers. We discovered that using a funnel helped to fill the narrow necked containers. Then we decided to use a Categorising Frame to sort full, half full and empty containers.
We spent time thinking about our thinking, creating good habits of mind. We thought about ideas we have had, illustrated them and talked about how we feel about our ideas and what we hope to do with them 🙂
We created our own version of Monet’s waterlilies. They look wonderful!
We love learning about our water topic through thinking frames
P2 love Science. They carried out an experiment to find out which substances dissolve in water. The predictions and discussion were wonderful. We recorded our findings on our thinking frame.
P2 have been exploring addition and subtraction. They worked with a partner to play a game which made their own sums
Our new topic is WATER! We love exploring our topic through play based learning.
P2 went for a winter walk! We saw lots of signs of winter...
