Key words - ‘love’ and ‘from’

This term we will be focusing on ‘Procedural Writing’. We began our lessons on this by thinking about how we make toast. We used a sequencing frame to put the steps in the correct order and then we got to make our own toast for snack - it was a lovely snack on a stormy, wet day ☔️

Prepositional Language - as part of our geography vocabulary lessons we have been learning about prepositional language. We played a game of prepositional bingo 🐻

Combining Sets - We are starting to learn addition. We are focusing on using the terms ‘add’ and ‘altogether makes’

Number stations 1-10

P1 have been exploring magnetic forces. We had fun finding items which were attached to the magnet. We felt a pulling forces when an item was attracted to the magnet 🧲

Happy Valentine’s

P1 enjoyed learning about Valentine’s Day! They created cards and decoded pebbles to show the person they loved they rocked!

P1 have been exploring the language taller than! We had a challenge to make a giant taller than the giant we had. We had lots of fun comparing our giants and seeing who’s giant was the tallest
