School uniform is available from 'Enigma', Main St, Moira and 'McCalls' of Lisburn.
In Nursery your child will have lots of practical experiences, some of them very messy! Sometimes accidents occur and children may get their clothes marked or wet. The Nursery uniform is informal and practical and consists of a red round-neck sweatshirt with school logo worn over a grey polo shirt, and navy or black jogging bottoms.
There is an expectation that our children will wear full uniform at all times and we very much appreciate parental support in this area. We believe that school uniform is both attractive and practical and helps give the children a distinctive identity with their school. Uniform also helps in maintaining an orderly atmosphere in which learning can flourish. Our uniform consists of the following:
The Following items are not part of our school’s uniform policy
All items of uniform should be labelled clearly with the child’s name and class.
On PE days children (P3 – P7) will be required to bring shorts, a sports shirt and plimsolls/trainers. P1 and P2 children only required to bring plimsolls/trainers (no laces). PE kits (including plimsolls) should be left in school, and taken home from time-to-time to wash, to help avoid children forgetting to bring their kits. P3 – P7 children are encouraged to bring trainers to school on P.E. days and take them home again that same day.
Any children with pierced ears will be asked to remove their earrings for PE or cover them with plasters.
