Phonological awareness and phonics

In our group work we were: 1.Finding magnetic letters to match with an alphabet arc. 2. We sorted our vehicle pictures onto a baseboard for the amount of syllables they had. 3. We did some book browsing with books from our library to see if we could find high frequency words we knew.

We clapped out the syllables in vehicle names and sorted the vehicle pictures according to the number of syllables. We also wrote some vehicles names on whiteboards.
