MPS wins the Inter Schools Swimming Gala!
What a fantastic day for our Swimming Team!
After a 43 year wait(!!!).......our sixteen swimmers were delighted to return with the shield for Overall Top School in the Inter Schools Swimming Gala!!
Everyone swam brilliantly and we returned home with six gold and two silver medals.
Special congratulations to:
Ben A - Gold P7 boys backstroke
Zara H - Gold P6 girls breaststroke
Emma M - Gold P6 girls freestyle
Evie L - Gold P7 girls freestyle
Reuben J - Silver P7 boys freestyle
In addition to the superb solo swims our relay teams added to our points tally with the
P6 girls’ and P7 boys’ team winning gold in their respective relays and the P7 girls finishing in second place for the silver medal. Everyone cheered each other on and displayed a wonderful team spirit.
WE ARE SO PROUD OF THEM ALL!!
